Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup chopped peanuts (optional)
  • ¼ cup Sriracha
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 3 pounds (1,350 g) chicken wings
  • 5 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 scallion, green parts chopped or thinly sliced

Directions:

  1. Marinate the wings by combining honey, sesame oil, soy sauce, Sriracha, ketchup and garlic in a large bowl.
  2. Get out a large freezer bag and set the wings and drummettes inside then pour the mixture in the bowl over it.
  3. Seal the bag and shake it to coat the chicken. Set it on the counter for 3 hours or overnight, if preferred.
  4. Once the chicken is about done marinating, set the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  5. Put the wings on the baking sheet and put it in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. The wings are done with they appear a golden brown. Take them out and put them on a plate.
  7. Top with chopped peanuts and scallions if desired.
